Sage Shortbread Crust (dairy free + gluten free)

A healthy alternative to your traditional baking crust, using these clean ingredients that all provide benefits to your overall health.

sage is very high in vitamin K and has many antioxidants that have linked to benefits such as lower cancer risk, memory improvement, and improved brain function.

almond flour contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can provide important benefits such as heart health, digestive health, and diabetes control. It is also an excellent source of iron and calcium.


maple is rich in antioxidants and full of minerals that are good for bone health, lower cholesterol and promote better brain health.

natural sea salt is full of necessary nutrients and trace minerals that play an essential role in many of our body's vital functions, including nerve function and mental health.


coconut oil contains a unique combination of fatty acids that have been shown to help support healthy brain function.


raw local honey contains a blend of local pollen, which can strengthen your immune system and reduce allergy symptoms.




INGREDIENTS


2 cups almond flour

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp honey

1/4 tsp SalterieOne sea salt

1 tsp fresh chopped sage


METHOD


Combine in food processor. Pulse until combined.


Press mix into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and bake at 350 for 13 minutes.


Cool for 20 minutes.
