Blueberry Basil Fruit Spread (paleo + gluten free+ refined sugar free + vegetarian)

This fruit spread is so refreshing and a perfect snack for vegetarians and carnivores alike!


Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins that are essential for building a strong immune system.

Basil is rich in an essential oil called eugenol that helps improve the digestive system.


Lemon juice is rich in Vitamin C that helps prevent cell damage.




INGREDIENTS

2 cups blueberries

1" basil leaves

3 tbsp lemon juice

1/8 tsp sea salt

2 tbsp dark honey


METHOD


First, blend all the ingredients together.


Next, add the blended ingredients to a pot, bring to boil, and continue cooking over high heat for 10 minutes, whisking continuously.


Let cool and serve.
