Adaptogenic Almond Cacao Bites (plant based + paleo + keto)

Adaptogenic Almond Cacao Bites


INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup raw almond butter, unsalted

1 tbsp maca root powder


METHOD


Combine 1/4 cup raw almond butter, 1 tbsp maca root powder, 2 tbsp rugged ridge forest wood fired maple syrup, 1/4 tsp duxbury saltworks classic sea salt in a bowl and whisk until evenly combined.


Then, form the mixture into 1" balls, place on a baking sheet and freeze until firm.


Once frozen, gently dip the frozen almond butter balls into the Salted Chocolate Shell Mixture and transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.


Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp duxbury saltworks classic sea salt and freeze until firm.

 

Salted Chocolate Shell


INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup coconut oil, liquefied

1/2 cup cacao powder



METHOD


Combine the coconut oil and cacao powder in a bowl and whisk until smooth, then add the raw local honey and duxbury saltworks classic sea salt continue whisking until smooth.
