To achieve healthy skin, one must understand that skin needs healthy food too! Your diet plays a key role in your skins’ functionality. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying” You are what you eat” right?

Just like the rest of your body, your skin needs vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and water. Our skin is constantly rebuilding itself. In fact it takes 27 days for your skin to regenerate itself! So what treatment exactly is the easiest, non- invasive and most effective way to help your skin restore balance and absorb the nutrients it needs? Masks made in the kitchen!

Masks are a great, relaxing and easy at-home treatment to help your skin absorb what it’s lacking. My new favorite Mask is a known favorite on Instagram, the HydroJelly Mask. The mask is so beautiful when its put on the face, but the benefits are even more marvelous!

Hydrojelly masks are used to restore electrolyte imbalances that are often found to be a cause of dehydrated, dull and dry skin. The mask I found to be most beneficial for my clients in the area is the Beta- Carotene Floral Mask. This is a highly enriched vitamin mast that delivers fast relief to the skin. It’s perfect for those who have eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and for those who want to improve tone and texture. This treatment adds moisture and can re-hydrate the skin. The core ingredients in Hydrojelly masks are known to be super beneficial for your skin but they are also made eco- friendly and Cruelty-free.

Algae – is a powerful antioxidant that hydrates, moisturizes and protects the skin. When you apply algae to the skin, it protects, repairs and fights against environmental damage to the skin, wrinkles and signs of aging. It’s loaded with essential vitamins and minerals that boost collagen, balances oil production, reduces puffiness and redness.

Organic White Grain Oat Flour – it has skin-soothing properties to help to calm our skin and can alleviate stressful skin conditions, such as rashes, allergic reactions, sunburn and other skin irritations.

Organic White Rice Flour – is a great alternative for sunscreen, it can be used to increase the absorption of Vitamin C in our bodies while it works to repair the skin. It is great for it’s cleansing, exfoliating and conditioning properties.

And last but not least, my new favorite, magical ingredient. I personally have Eczema and always on the look out for this ingredient in multiple products for my daily routine.

White Willow Bark – is truly an amazing ingredient. It works to soothe our skin and regenerate our skin cells to leave us with beautiful, supple, and youthful skin. It also reduces inflammation and relieves stressful skin conditions, like rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. It can also reduce stubborn acne and excessive sebum production.
