Salted Chocolate Fudge Brownies (dairy free + gluten free)

There is nothing better for dessert than a brownie, and one that won't make you feel bloated afterwards. In fact, these are made with seven clean ingredients that all promote health benefits.


cacao powder provides a lot of health benefits, such as improved cognitive health, stronger immune system, heals wounds, and promotes better muscle and nerve function.


almond flour contains vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can provide important benefits such as heart health, digestive health, and diabetes control. It is also an excellent source of iron and calcium.


coconut sugar is plant-based and a minimally processed natural sweetener.


natural sea salt plays a vital role in fluid balance and helps the maintain proper hydration


coconut oil contains a unique combination of fatty acids that have been shown to help support healthy brain function.


vanilla promotes many therapeutic uses, including as an aphrodisiac and to aid with gas relief.


farm fresh eggs have many health advantages such as less cholesterol, less saturated fat, increased vitamins A, E and D, more omega-3 fatty acids, and more beta carotene.



INGREDIENTS


dry:

2.5 cups almond flour

2.25 cups cacao powder

2.5 cups coconut sugar

1/4 tsp classic sea salt

1/2 cup hu chunks


wet:

2.25 cups coconut oil

2 tbsp vanilla

4 XL fresh farm eggs



METHOD


Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.


Blend wet ingredients and then blend together dry + wet ingredients.


Pour into a 9x12 pan and top with 1/2 cup hu chunks.


Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.


Spread melted chocolate evenly over warm brownies, and finish with a sprinkle of sea salt!
