INGREDIENTS
1 whole small banana, peeled and broken into pieces
3 tbsp raw almond butter (we love Trader Joe's brand, it's just almonds!)
1 tbsp maca powder
1 tbsp raw cocao nibs (c-o-c-a-o....not dark chocolate!)
1.5 cups almond milk (or you favorite plant milk)
to taste ice cubes
METHOD
Add the banana, almond butter, cocoa, maca, and almond milk to the blender basin and blend until smooth. Then, add ice to the blender and blend again until ice is evenly combined.
PRO TIP: Don't have plant milk on hand? Just add 1/4 cup of almond butter and 1.25 cups of water - you can also use this ratio to make DIY almond milk!
