6 Clean Cocktail Recipes for Beneficial Summer Sipping

These simple summer cocktails are made with clean ingredients (aka REAL food!) that will leave you feeling so refreshed that you may find yourself wondering if you even want to add alcohol to your second round......though we are totally not judging if you still do!


GREEN TEA is packed with adaptogens that help to reduce symptoms of stress and prevent feelings of fatigue.

6. The Zen Garden


6 parts fresh brewed green tea (cooled)

2 parts fresh lemon juice

2 parts raw local honey

2 parts vodka

Add all ingredients to a tumbler or pitcher.

Stir vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Pour over ice and enjoy!


Want to skip the alcohol?

Just remove the vodka for a simple sweet tea!




LEMON JUICE is loaded with vitamin C, an essential nutrient shown that has been shown to support immune function.

5. Lavender Lemonade


4 parts fresh lemon juice

2 parts agave nectar

8 parts spring water

4 parts vodka

pinch of dried lavender

Add all ingredients to a tumbler or pitcher.

Stir vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Pour over ice and enjoy!


Want to skip the alcohol?

Just remove the vodka for a delicious botanical lemonade!




COLD PRESSED COCONUT WATER contains lots of electrolytes which help to keep the body hydrated and have been shown to help reduce feelings of nausea and fatigue.


4. Frozen Tiki Treat


2 oz cold pressed coconut water

2 oz frozen pineapple chunks

1 oz frozen banana slices

2 oz dark rum

1 oz amaretto

2 oz ice


Add all ingredients to blender.

Blend until ingredients are evenly combined.

Pour into a fun glass.

Enjoy immediately!


Want to skip the alcohol?

Substitute the amaretto and rum for a few drops of almond extract!




CUCUMBERS contain electrolytes and are an excellent source of hydration.

3. Summer Spritzer


2 parts fresh sliced cucumber 2 parts fresh watermelon chunks

2 parts fresh lime juice

1 part agave nectar

2 parts cucumber vodka

3 parts sparkling water


Add sliced cucumber, watermelon chunks, lime juice, agave nectar and cucumber vodka to a tumbler or pitcher.

Stir vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Pour over ice in a tall glass, top with sparkling water and enjoy!


Want to skip the alcohol?

Just substitute the cucumber vodka for a little extra sparkling water!



BLUEBERRIES are rich in antioxidants that help to protect cells from damage caused by stress and aging.

2. Blueberry Muddler


10 large fresh blueberries

10 fresh mint leaves

1 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz agave syrup

1 oz coconut rum

4 oz sparkling water


Add blueberries, mint leaves, lime juice and agave to a cocktail shaker.

Muddle vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Add rum to the tumbler with ice.

Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Pour into a tall glass with shaker ice.

Top with sparkling water and enjoy immediately!

Just remove the rum for a delicious spritzer!




WATERMELON contains anti-inflammatory antioxidants that have been shown to reduce inflammation in addition to other symptoms of oxidation.

1. Watermelon Margarita

3 parts fresh watermelon puree

2 parts fresh lime juice

1 part fresh lemon juice

2 parts agave nectar

2 parts silver tequila

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Strain over new ice in a salt rimmed glass.

Enjoy immediately!

Want to skip the alcohol?

Add 4 parts sparkling water instead of tequila to create a delicious margarita inspired spritzer!
