About the Event

Join us as we recreate the magic of our Fall Harvest Dinner at our first annual Farm-to-Table Summer Harvest Dinner on Sunday August 24th, 2020 at the Cohasset Lighthouse Keeper's Hall!

This carefully curated private dining event hosted by Melissa Peralta of Mood Food Wellness Co. and Suddenly Simple Events will feauture a plant based menu prepared by Chef Jessica Mandelbaum of The Almond Tree, as well as optional #moodfoodapproved wine pairings selected by Shannon Ewer of Barrel & Vine. 

The seven course tasting menu prepared by Chef Jessica Mandelbaum of The Almond Tree will dairy, gluten, grain and meat free offerings inspired by our local farms' summer harvest, in addition to optional omnivore proteins from local proveyers and clean wine pairings from Barrel & Vine. 

FIRST COURSE

Three Sisters Salad

summer squash + roasted corn + braised beans + mint-pea puree + mushroom

omnivore addition: pan seared sea scallop from mullaney's harborside fish market

SECOND COURSE

Summer Tapas Plate

cashew creme brie + seed crisps + seasonal fruit + spreads + vegetables

omnivore addition: house-cured bacon lardon from bogside acres

THIRD COURSE

Roasted Beet Carpaccio

heirloom tomatoes + english cucumbers + herb infused oil + rocket salad + roasted beet

omnivore addition: raw yellow fin tuna from mullaney's harborside fish market

FOURTH COURSE

Summer Harvest Zoodles

zucchini noodles + cherry tomatoes + bell peppers + butter bean creme + fried basil

no omnivore addition 

FIFTH COURSE

Po’Boy Slaw

root vegetable slaw + roasted red pepper aioli + fresh pickles + roasted cauliflower

omnivore addition: fried duxbury oyster from island creek oysters

SIXTH COURE

Butternut Bourguignon

smashed butternut + roasted rosemary potatoes + red currant reduction

omnivore addition: garlic herb beef terndloin from bogside acres 

SEVENTH COURSE

Stone Fruit Tart

peaches + plums + nectarines + cashew creme filling + date nut crust + coho dream cream

no omnivore addition 

At the event, Melissa and Jessica will share detailed nutrition and sourcing information as they present each course with it's optional pairings, and guests will enjoy fabulous swag bags filled with exclusives from members of the Mood Food Wellness Collective.

Shared Table guests will be seated in singles and pairs with other shared table ticket holders and a maximum of six guests per table.

Private Tables may be reserved exclusively for parties of six.
